WHERE DO YOU GET ALL THE CLOTHES?
We go on appointments with people to their homes to purchase our clothing. Those who have 50 or more clothing pieces from 1968 or before should call to make an appointment. (or write an email by clicking on our address at the bottom of any page.) We also will look at accessories along with that base number of items. Yes, we are willing to go out of town. WHY CAN'T I WALK IN TO SELL YOU MY CLOTHES?
We clean everything at LULA so we want to be sure everything that enters our doors for sale is clean. In the past, we have had people walk in with things that did not smell good or had a moth fly from the garments. To insure the cleanliness of LULA- we like to come to the source and then- clean the items accordingly. After which- it comes for sale at LULA.
WHY DON'T YOU TAKE RETURNS?
All sales are final at LULA. A standard policy of vintage stores. Otherwise - we'd have to re-clean the garments. This would be cost prohibitive.
HOW DO YOU HAVE SUCH AN AWESOME STORE?
Great question- we want LULA to be the type of store that we would want to shop at ourselves. We've been in business 20 years so we are able to operate with a lot of experience and knowledge. We seek to make LULA as good as a store as we can make it.
